We look forward to hosting the largest gathering of KAND caregivers and researchers to date at the 2019 Family & Scientific Engagement Conference. Join us August 16-17 at Columbia University in New York City.

This conference aims to educate families affected by KIF1A Associated Neurological Disorder (KAND), empower them to engage as partners in research and mobilize the community to accelerate discovery of treatment for those living with KIF1A Associated Neurological Disorder.

The two-day event will drive transparent and meaningful dialogue between KAND caregivers and researchers. Sessions will address topics such as an introduction to PCOR, KAND research updates and strategy, prioritization of treatment and how caregivers can drive KAND research and develop a strategic plan.

Our ultimate goal is to help caregivers improve the health and lives of KAND patients now, while laying the foundation for long-term treatments.
